On the heels of another super Tuesday victory, The Donald made a shocking claim. “As president of the United States, the first thing I will do is buy the New York Knicks and make them great again.”

“Were the Knicks great in the first place?” A reporter from New York Times asked,  “And don’t you think Bernie Sanders, from Brooklyn, would be better suited to run a basketball team?”

Trump marched on. “I loved the Knicks, growing up in Queens. They were huge. I’ve been watching them for the past couple of weeks. They’re bunch of losers, I have to say. They don’t win anymore. They can’t do anything right. Hillary, Bernie, they’d just give this team away. They’d give it away. They don’t know how to negotiate. They’d give these players so much money. And for what? We’re getting crushed by Toronto, Cleveland, Miami. I love Miami, I’ve got a lot of properties there, a lot, but this is New York. We’ve got to be great again. And we will. We will be great again.”

When shown the team roster, he quipped, “I’d fire that guy. That’s for sure. How do you even say that…Thanos Antykuntpo? Just terrible. He’s gone. Get rid of him. It’s stupid. Robin Lopez? Get him outta here. Gone. Bye bye. Go back to Mexico. Just toss him right over the wall.”

Lopez, from California, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Jose Calderon, and Kristaps Porzingis have allegedly already begun talks with the Toronto Raptors. “Moving to Canada is the only option,” Calderon said.

But not every Knick is worried. Jimmer Fredette, on the contrary, has tweeted several excited messages supporting Trump.
