Brooklyn Basketball Fans Hope Gentrification Can Replace Nets With Better Team

Brooklyn, NY – Calling it “an embarrassment” and product of years of mismanagement and neglect, Brooklyn residents have begun actively rooting for gentrification to displace their NBA team and maybe bring a better one.

The Nets play at the highly desirable intersection of Atlantic and Flatbush Avenues, where the chic and increasingly expensive neighborhoods of Park Slope, Fort Greene, and Prospect Heights all intersect.
