All hail the Splash Mothers.
Dude, seriously.
It has come to the attention of THIS reporter that Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry’s mom is ALSO a major babe.

Like Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson’s mother, Julie Thompson, who was featured in last week’s article, Sonya Curry also married an NBA player and also went on to make a beautiful basketball baby with him. (Sources contend that the coining of this term is justified by the number of players in the league sired by men who were also in the NBA.) Steph’s father, Wardell Curry, played in the NBA from 1986 to 2002, retiring as the all-time leader in points for the Charlotte Hornets.
If we think about it, this makes a lot of sense. NBA players have an interesting profession, a lot of money, and fame—traits that are all advantageous for attracting a mate. And not just any mate, it would seem, but the cream of the crop. Players go on to procreate with beautiful women, resulting in not only more NBA talent, but more NBA talent that’s also fun to look at.
I mean, have you seen Steph and his siblings? Wowza. There’s a good gene pool.

If things continue in this pattern, reporters expect they’ll be seeing a lot more eye candy on the court. Researchers speculate that if these trends continue for several generations, they will result in a class of super tall, sharp-shooting megahunks. Just thinking about it is making this reporter wet. Can you say, splasshhhh?
